In January we dreamed of it.

And this week it all became true. His new home, his next challenge and opportunity, his new circle and daily routine, living more without us than with us and fulfilling a promise owed only to himself.

In January we sat on this bench and imagined the places he’d go with the friends he’d make, dreaming of a future in LA. This time I brought Anthony with me, we hiked and casually took it all in knowing we’d be returning here again and again.
