Every year we pick our pumpkins at Great Country Farms in Bluemont, VA. The wagon ride to the pick-your-own field along with the stunning view makes this a favorite spot.

We are Fristers because years ago on a similar such trip a waiter asked if we were friends or sisters, we are both. Destination, Charleston, South Carolina. Purpose, celebrate Ginnie’s 40th birthday.
The Ordinary is a Southern seafood hall and oyster bar located in an old bank. We were greeted with a bottle of champagne, courtesy of Ginnie’s thoughtful cousin, and continued with excellent cocktails and an amazing, funky bottle of red. The sea urchin on toast was our favorite.
