She told me he likes to play with the girls and that I should plan playdates with some of the boys…She told me he loves to climb into her lap when its story time…She told me she wants him to be more assertive…She told me that when someone snatches from him his first reaction is to cry…

And this is what I have to say…He has a big sister he worships… His favorite color is pink and when Penny plays dress up he promptly puts on his Thomas (one and only) costume…He cries the least of my kids, he takes the roughest of tumbles and barely even whimpers…But he’s sensitive and this I will never, ever discourage…I will not encourage my youngest to grow up, to toughen up, to be assertive and to hold back tears…I will encourage his cuddles and hugs for as long as he’ll give them.
