Oliver’s Self Portrait, April 2014

During the first year in pre-school each child draws a self-portrait at the beginning of the year and end of the year which are shared with the parent during teacher conferences. I marvel at how my child changes from fall to spring as well as the differences between each of my children. Oliver’s spring portrait isn’t very different from his fall portrait. What he did do differently which no other child of mine, as well as of his teacher, has done before is ask for more paper so that he could draw portraits of each of his family members.
