To celebrate my 50th birthday, my sisters treated me with a trip to Mexico City. The sun shined, the weather was warm, the food was delicious, the sites were amazing and the quality time, a lifelong gift.

The Amazonia exhibit at the Museo Nacional de Antropología was incredible. A free exhibit at the entrance, we happened upon it as we were about to leave. The photos of the Amazon rainforest were stunning but even more powerful was the documentation of the indigenous inhabitants that have little contact with the outside world.
