A child bears so much more than just their fate. A child is the holder of promise, deliverer of dreams, benefactor of grace. Each child is a miracle given. Today we bless Kiefer for the prayer he has fulfilled in the faith that will be his Shepherd.

Godfather Rodney Bradshaw Douglass, Jr. and Godmother Ellen Nam Lengermann will ensure Kiefer knows kindness and love as they show him how life should be lived. 

For this child I prayed; and the Lord hath given me my petition which I asked of him: Therefore also I have lent him to the Lord; as long as he liveth he shall be lent to the Lord. And he worshipped the Lord there.
